April 2024 Update: Niriqatiginnga and the Digital Arts and Cultural Entrepreneurship incubator project team created a whole new web platform and online marketplace for the Kivalliq Chamber of Commerce this month. Read more about this amazing new community-driven project. Congratulations to the volunteers who came together to collaboratively develop this new project. The new marketplace builds on activities supported by Manitoba Agriculture and the Sustainable Canadian Agriculture Program.

Discover how Indigenous youth in Winnipeg, Manitoba, are leading a groundbreaking seasonal food production project with the Niriqatiginnga program. Through arts, entrepreneurship, and digital media literacy, they’re planning to craft homemade jams for the upcoming fall and holiday season.
Almost into its third year, Indigenous youth, artists and Volunteers from a Canada Council for the Arts-funded Digital Greenhouse program dedicated hundreds of hours applying their skills to rejuvenating online presence for Kivalliq and Manitoba Arts and Culture programming.
Our program began as a pilot project with funding from Manitoba Agriculture and the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership. We are incredibly thankful for their support.
