Downtown Winnipeg Indigenous Market

June 27 @ 10:00 am 2:00 pm CDT

As part of their summer indoor/outdoor season, the Downtown Winnipeg Farmer’s Market is thrilled to host an Indigenous Market that highlights the rich cultural heritage and craftsmanship of Indigenous communities. It’s an event we’re really looking forward to checking out, as we explore how different markets and organizations design and deliver their programming.

The Indigenous Market will be held on Thursday, June 27, at the Downtown Winnipeg Farmer’s Market in honour of National Indigenous History Month. Located at Manitoba Hydro Place, 360 Portage Avenue, this vibrant market will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This event promises a unique opportunity to support local Indigenous artisans and immerse yourself in the beauty of their creations. A diverse array of vendors will come together to offer fresh produce, quality meats, and an assortment of unique crafts, jewelry, and artisanal goods. The market aims to showcase the best of Indigenous craftsmanship, giving visitors a chance to explore and purchase handmade items that reflect the rich cultural traditions and skills of Indigenous peoples.
