This workshop will delve into the concept of artist-run centres and their innovative models, with a particular focus on how these approaches can be applied to modernize municipal recreation and arts-based programs.
Global Dignity Day aims to empower individuals with the belief that every human being has the inherent right to live a life marked by dignity and respect.
The workshop opens with a focus on the intersection of arts and climate action. Participants will engage in interactive sessions designed to deepen their understanding of how artistic practices can be effectively integrated with climate-focused initiatives.
The second day delves into advanced concepts related to integrating art and sustainability. Participants will explore how to apply innovative practices and emerging technologies to their artistic endeavors. Emphasis will be placed on enhancing organizational and arts sector capacity, including how to effectively use resources and collaborate on impactful projects.
The final day focuses on applying the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the workshop. Participants will work in groups to develop detailed proposals for art projects that align with the themes of the workshop.
